From research with people to AI you can trust.

UX/UI Designer & AI Consultant: research, interfaces and AI products for SMEs and product teams.

The thread

Technology suggests. The person decides.

In all my projects, technology does the repetitive work: it reads, compares, calculates and flags. The person stays at the centre and has the last word.

The principle has grown with me, one project at a time.

  1. 01Research with peopleDODICI and Conapp, in a team: understand the problem from the inside, then test in the field.
  2. 02A complete project, on my ownSimplify Review: research, interface, evaluation and iteration.

Nyra

A person who signs a file prepared by AI must be able to trust every item.

The AI interprets, the code calculates, a person checks and signs. Every data point shows its source.

Simplify Review

In systematic reviews, the repetitive phases, such as duplicates, filters and metadata, are a heavy load for researchers.

The system flags duplicates, the researcher decides. Every choice leaves a trace.

Role
Individual end-to-end project: research, architecture, UI, prototype and test · University of Siena
Proof
25 survey responses, 5 interviews, AttrakDiff with 20 people: pragmatic quality 5.38/7, then an iteration.

Conapp

Most food waste happens at home, and it already starts with the shopping list.

The expiry date becomes readable for people and for the app. You decide before the fridge, when you write the list.

Role
UX Research in a team of 5 people · Experience Design course, University of Siena
Proof
Field test with 18 people outside a supermarket, AttrakDiff: pragmatic quality 5.89/7.

DODICI

For people who dress sitting down, zips, buttons and standard cuts make it hard to dress alone.

The app and the Virtual Tailor help people dress on their own. The person chooses: do it alone or ask a tailor.

Role
UX Research in a team of 4 people · University of Siena

What I can do for you

From people’s problem to a product they really use.

How I work

Five steps, always the same.

  1. Research

I listen to people before I design.

Simplify Review25 survey responses and 5 interviews with researchers and PhD students, cross-checked with thematic coding.

  2. Problem definition

5 whys and How might we, until there is one question.

DODICIFive “whys” from the difficult zip to the root cause: there is no research on this audience. Then the final question about everyday clothes.

  3. Prototypes of growing fidelity

    Structure first, then the interface.

Simplify ReviewPaper, Miro, Figma and finally Framer, one level of fidelity at a time.

  4. Tests with metrics

I test the prototype with people and measure with AttrakDiff.

ConappThe prototype in the hands of 18 people outside a supermarket in Siena, then the AttrakDiff questionnaire.

  5. Iteration

I start again from the weakest point.

Simplify ReviewAfter the test I worked on hedonic quality · identity, the lowest score (4.87), without losing clarity.

After iteration I go back to research: the method is a cycle.

With AI I use the same rules I put into products: the AI suggests, I check and decide, and every step leaves a trace. In Nyra the method is documented phase by phase.

About me

I design starting from the people who will use the product.

I am a UX/UI designer and AI consultant. I have a master’s degree from the University of Siena in Communication Strategies and Techniques, UX Design track. After seven months at Choralia working on AI in organisations, I founded LL Studio. With LL Studio I help SMEs introduce AI in a practical way.

I live in Ispica, in Sicily, and I work remotely.
